【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationprescribesrequirementsforcandleaccessoriestohelpensureareasonabledegreeofsafetyfornormaluse,therebyimprovingpersonalsafetyandreducingfires,deaths,andinjuries.1.2Thisspecificationisnotintendedtoreplaceothersafetypracticessuchasadultsupervision,closemonitoringofproductwheninuse,andfiredetection,alarm,orsuppressionsystems.1.3Candlesburnwithanopenflame.Precautionsmustbetakentoensurethattheflamedoesnotignitecombustiblematerialsandinitiatealargerfire.Tothatend,thisspecificationestablishesminimumsafetyrequirementsforcandleaccessories.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisspecificationisusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
